USB Microphone and OS X 10.1.1

	I am thinking about getting an iRez StealthFire webcam. I want to use it with 10.1.1 on my iMac DV (1999 model), I know about getting the beta of the drivers. My question is, 10.1.1 does not support sound in via the System Preferences, so how will I get a microphone to work with 10.1.1? Will a USB microphone with 10.1.1? I do not want to buy a StealthFire webcam and find out that I can’t get a microphone to work because 10.1.1 does not support sound in.
