I need an MP3 player...i want to be able to listen to music when i am tearing down the lake going 70mph in my Bass Boat....and when i am pulling those 10 pound bass into my boat =)....But i have a few questions that you guys might be able to answer.
1) I am pretty sure you can store MP3's and Data at the same time on your iPod? is this right? can i import mp3's into it, disconnect, and listen to music, and then connect and drag data files (word files etc.) into the iPod for file storage?
2) Can i install applications onto the iPod and run them from there while connected to my iBook 600 DVD? I am running outta space on my iBook and this would justuify the $399 cost for me...
thanks for your help..

Hey timmerk, just a tip:
You don't have to put in that long quote like you did, especially when you're the first poster AND you quoted the entire message. I don't think anyone had any doubts what you were talking in reference to. It's cool, though, just keep that in mind for the future, because some of us have small screens.
