I have two macs and one FW hard drive with two connectors in the back (for daisychaining other devices) Question is: can I share one FW peripheral between two macs by plugging both directly into the drive? If so, what is the recommended procedure?

Thanks Dudes.

At this time, it's not possible. I've heard people say there might be FireWire hubs in the future that will allow this. For now, it's either physically plugging it into one at a time, or accessing it via file sharing.

yeah... that's what I thought...

A firewire hub enabling such functionality would be grand, wouldn't it!

Thanks for the info.
