For some reason lately, my mouse has lost the ability to track well at high motion speeds. It worked fine before but now it will stop all horizontal motion if I move the mouse to fast. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I tried cleaning the mouse but there is no change.

This is a fairly common problem with early MS IntelliMouse Explorer mice (see the IntelliMouse special report section on MacInTouch). Call MS and they will send a free replacement (you've got a lifetime warranty on the IntelliMouse Explorer).
