Anyone have any experience with this audio hardware? I was wondering what exactly it does... does it really destaticize all the music and make it sound clearer and all that? And what is the difference of the output between the hardware and the plugin version, is it just a fancy equalizer or something, or is it really what we've all been waiting for (next to a soundblaster live! that is...)

Wow! I've got to put this thing in my 'buy jar' that stands next to my 'job jar'. Only thing is my wife says I have to empty the job jar before I can dip into the buy jar.

So does this thing really make your sound system sound like one connected to a good sound card, like a soundblaster? I noticed that they deliver nice bass and very powerful sound, which cannot be attained by my present CSW 4 point pcworks system.

It does what it advertises. Get it you won't be disappointed, unless of course you've a pair of very expensive speakers than it may or may not make a difference. Simply, it turns mediocre speakers into good ones.

Well, i received the Wow Thing a few days ago and i've been fiddling around with it lately, I must say i'm impressed! With the already well done imaging of the Monsoon MM-700's I have plus the Wow Thing box makes music sound wonderful. It adds depth to the speakers, so you can hear certain instruments as closer or further away in addition to the excellent stereo and clear high's and mids that the Wow thing adds. The only flaw is that you can hear every little mistake in digital music! But I love it and i suggest that anyone who would like to improve their computer speakers, to invest in one of these little boxes, they do a wonderful job. :-)
