I know this topic has been covered here before but could anyone with this setup post to confirm that it functions properly? Just the Cube, its standard speakers and the iSub (no "sticks").

I was at the Apple store in Palo Alto this evening and ready to pounce on one when the salesman (who was sure it would work) had second thoughts after co-workers and the iSub's packaging didn't seem to support this setup. To his credit, he grabbed the reins on the whole thing and said it wasn't a good idea unless we could verify it.

Anyway, the line at the genius bar was really long and I was pressed for time. I felt sure I had read that iSubs were cool with the Cube. Could some of the current users give me a thumbs up or a nay if I had misunderstood the compatibility?

thanks much, -dfm
