I was wondering if there was something out that would allow me lengthen my USB cord on my Keyboard. Does USB require a repeater like Firewire does or can you just get an "extension" cord?

I want to put the keyboard on a pull out desk keyboard stand but the cord is too short.

ps. I tried plugging it though a hub but the power key, on the Keyboard, wont turn on the computer that way.

never mind... stupid question. I found what I needed right after posting this. But for those of you who might have the same question. There are Active and Passive USB Extension's. Active allows you to go with a much longer cord because they have a built in repeater. Passive will extend you a couple more feet with out a repeater. I found a passive one at Outpost for $5.95.

Speaking of USB, does anyone know of a cord to go from USB to Apple Serial (modem port)? I have a digital camera that has a jack to go into a usb port. Can I take that end and plug it into something that has a port for a serial cord?
