I just bought a USB hard drive enclosure and put in the hard drive from my old PC. The hard drive had a NTFS partition and a FAT32 partition. I went into Disk Utility and selected the NTFS partition and clicked erase. Now the progress says "newfs_hfs: /dev/rdisk1s1: No such file or directory" and it's been sitting there ever since. I'm not sure if it's doing anything, but when I try to quit, it says operations still in progress. I'm afraid that if I quit it will mess up the hard drive. What should I do?

Thanks

EDIT: Nevermind, I just quit it and did it over. Now it works fine. Thanks anyways
