Hi, does anyone know for sure if the ipod will run on 9.1? I know they recommend 9.2, but apple often errors on the cautious side. besides, lots of problems with 9.2, don't want to risk it. i see the itunes 2.1 is available for 9.1(english and International english). If so, i would imagine it should work as itunes 2 is a requiement for the ipod. I would love to know if anyone is actually using itunes 2 and an ipod on system 9.1. Thanks all

I use 9.1 on my older G3 and iTunes works fine.

Based on my experience, yes. I'm running iTunes 2.0 on OS 9.1, and my iPod worked right out of the box. This is with the US/North American versions of the above SW running on an iBook 2001.
