I acquired an HP DeskWriter 540(w/ color kit) a little over a year ago. It works decently for color printing, but I noticed that it claims ColorSync compatibility by way of an extension called HP CMM 2. It is hooked up directly to a serial port on my beige G3. In 9.2.1, the CMM doesn't show up in the ColorSync control panel's CMM tab. When I try to print, one of the Color Matching choices is ColorSync. If I try that when printing from Photoshop 6(or any other app), it gives me a -4 error(program error). Any ideas on how to use this? HP's site says that ColorSync works with System 7. Any ideas?
