I can't help thinking that built-in battery for my iPod will, one of these days, stop holding a charge? I mean, we all know that over several years laptop batteries, even lithium ion batteries, stop holding charges or hold charges for a very minimal amout of time.
I wonder if this is what is going to happen to the iPod? What makes it worse is that you cannot go out and buy another iPod battery and simply change the old one out. You'd have to send it in for service with Apple etc. I think this may be the one areas where I disagree with Apple's industrial design group. They should have made their batteries external and interchangable....
What do you think?
