Mac/Win USB Flash Drive Recomendation?

I am researching into the USB flash drive (like Sonnet Piccolo and M-System Disk-On-Key) to use on Windows and Mac 9, X machines. I need some recommendations, tidbits, helps and etc on these key size flash drive. I am looking for comments on:

- Reliability, can I really hot-disconnect
- NO software to install on Mac 9,X and Win98 and NT.
- Recomd on supplier/manufactures or alternative device (except zip)

It can be hot-disconnected but you do need to eject it first like any other disk on the Mac before unplugging it. You don't need to install any software on the Mac or PC. Windows NT does not work with USB devices (this one or any others) but Win 2000 will.
