Howdy, I'm looking to get a digital camera for pictures of the family and to upload images to eBay. I don't want to spend a fortune.($300 range)

I have an iMac G3 350. What do you think would be the best camera for my needs? Also, I have zero experience with digital cameras.
Thanks!

I hear that the Agfa ones are very good for the money. However, I just bought a Kodac DC280 that I'm very pleased with. I think thats a little over your budget though.

However, Be prepared to make regular, heavy investments with Duracel... Digital camera's eat batteries at an alarming rate! Be warned..

Thanks Paul...is this Agfa camera USB ready? I'm new to this.
Thanks again.

Just curious...how much did your Kodak run you?

I'm not too sure if the Agfa camera's are USB ready or not.. You will have to find thier web site and check..

As for the price of the Kodac DC280 I have.. I live in England where things generally cost a lot more than other countries! (Which is very annoying to say the least!) It was reduced from £560 (approx $827) to £400 (approx $590) which I thought was pretty good. But they also make another very good camera, the DC240i which you can get in all the iMac colours and costs less, yet is still USB ready. But obviously the resolution is not quite as high as the DC280. Both of these camera's i'm sure will cost much less in America.. So the DC240 particularly, may well be worth a look.
