Does anyone with an Apple LCD, especially in the newer ones gotten any dead pixels yet? The reason I ask is because I want to compare the quality of a desktop display and the ones in the Apple Notebooks. I have heard not one person mentioning dead pixels on their desktop displays but you definately hear it in the portable threads.

I don't want to drop $2500 on a 22" cinema display power it up and see that there are dead pixels and that there's nothing that Apple can do about it. If their desktop LCD policy is the same as the notebooks, then I'll just stick with CRT's.

Ask the store if you can plug it in and try it before you buy. That is what I am going to do.

My 15' LCD from Apple has zero dead pixels though.

I'd imagine the policy is the same, and I've heard of a few people having stuck or dead pixels on the desktop lcd's, I recall one even being a cinema. Still, my 15" ACD has perfect pixels.
