i understand the mac usb version is shipping now. has anyone tried it yet? i am looking for a burner that will work on my imac and my pc laptop. you can order a pc card with software for an additional $39. not bad for a cross-platform portable burner. just hope it works!

I just got mine yesterday. I have not had much time to play with it. But I can say it is very fast on my imac dv se. Only thing I have noticed that seems to have broke is my graphire pen and mouse. I have toast working and the graphire does not work. I disable toast and graphire works. Other then that I think I made a wise choice.

I'm considering buying one of these for use with my iMac and iBook. Does anyone else have experiences with them?

The price almost seems too good to be true. Why would anyone pay more to get a Que! CDRW drive when you can get this one for less, and its smaller?

I got mine via MacMall. Small Dog has them listed but it is back ordered.
So far so good too.
