Hi.

Anyone here using apple`s twinview graphic card with a dual monitor setup ( both ADC and VGA ). Will adding the second monitor slow this card down? Are there any other options if one wants to use a VGA monitor on a new G4 desktop?

Thanks.

Both the GeForce 2 MX and 3 can connect a VGA monitor (as well as an ADC). The only difference is the ability of the TwinView to use both at once. Therefore, one of you monitors must be ADC (ie an apple flat panel, mostly). The TwinView shouldn't be slowed down by the two monitors connected to it, since that's what its made for. As I understand, 32 megs of memory are reserved for each monitor. Someone who actually has a TwinView can confirm how the sharing of memory works...
