I bought SIIG's 11-in-1 adapter as it had the best price. I'm wondering, though. if the advertised numbers on the various cards is true. Some are 18-in-1, 11-in-1, 8-in-1, 5-in-1, etc. But it seems to me the higher numbers just include variations of the same standard. For example, MMC, RS-MMC, MicroMMC, etc. Same goes for Memory Sticks. Am I correct or do some of the cards really support more standards than others?

Of course the count includes every possible variation on the theme.
There is no established standard for what "X in One" means, so you really will have to read the specs and make your own comparison on the specific compatibilities.
