I am awaiting delivery of a new iBook, and bought a few items ahead of time so I could have everything when it finally gets here.

One of those items is an optical scroll wheel mouse by logitech. I decided to hook it up to my NT box at work (since I am computerless at home ) and try it out.

I rely heavily on the scroll wheel for scrolling up and down webpages and other windows. The problem is that if I am trying to scroll up the page, sometimes I can never make it because it keeps skipping back down to the bottom! Sometimes it will do this going down, but usually it is only in the up direction.

This is extremely annoying, but if it will work fine with the iBook, I will stop worrying about it... Has anyone had this problem? Do I have a bad mouse?

Hey hotani,
I have a logitech scrollwheel that I use with a G4 Cube and haven't had the issues that you are experiencing (with your NT box)... It works great (although I like my new IntelliEye Scrollwheel even more)...
best of luck,
dave
