A fellow Mac user, whom I am attempting to help out, is having some printer problems. Like the subject line says it is a Canon 5400 which, by the way, is a color printer. The problem is it won't print black. It will print using colors but not black.
Since the printer doesn't get used often I suggested that the black ink cartrage may be clogged and to by a new one to see if it fixes the problem.
She has also talked to Cannon and they had her clean some connections and such to no avail.
Before she spends the money on a new ink cartrage can anyone give me some suggestions. Mabey someone out there owns this model?
