Does anybody know what the cheapest SCSI (internal or external) or Firewire CD-RW I can get? I know that there's a 8x4x32 QueFire for $170 but I heard a lot of bad things about Que. I did see once a $99 Firewire one but that disappeared very quickly. I've seen a $65 SCSI internal once also. I would like the drive to be compatible with Toast.

If you're looking for a really cheap CD-RW, you could always get a USB burner. Unless you want 8 speed write, then you need Firewire or SCSI.

Oh yeah USB.. I forgot about them!

I wouldn't even mind a 2X write, but I would like to be able to rewrite too. I'll end up buying toast 5 anyway, (a steep $89!) which will let me burn in the back ground!
