Does anybody know of a Compactflash flash card reader that works with OSX? I'd prefer one that had a USB interface but I'm openminded.
Thanks.

I posted a similar thread a while ago, but I am looking for one that does smartmedia instead of flash.

I did not find out much, but it seems like the SanDisk line might work with OSX. I ordered the imagemate which is their reader (smartmedia and flash versions available). I have heard of it working directly from OSX, but having a problem unmounting the disk; and I have heard reports of it working through the classic environment.

hopefully it will work in OSX because that is one of the only things keeping me from using X full time!!

ya. I have to use my son's iMac (still OS9.1 because all he does on it is edutainment) to copy my photos onto the network. I'm using OS X on my G4 and loving it but the inability to access some of my peripherals is hurting. I can't wait to see what happens when they start shipping OS X. I went to apple store online to windowshop buying an ibook and found them offering all sorts of 'excellenet accessories' for it that were not supported by OSX drivers. I wonder what the store will be offering once OSX is the default OS.
