I'm about to purchase a firewire drive and would like to share it between my Ti and my PC. Is this possible? And if so, how would I need to format the drive. It seems that it would work if you formatted the drive to the pc type format since my mac can read pc zip disks. Am I wrong. Any help would be great.

You gotta tame the beast before you let it out of its cage.

Yes, it's possible, provided you format for PCs. Also remeber to add file extensions to the files you wish to use in Windows or your Windows OS will not know which program to use to open the file.
