Last week I ordered 512 MB for my Ti from www.18004memory.com I took a screen shot of the receipt after it was purchased online. By today (almost a week later) my memory had not arrived. I thought it was shady that I received no confirmation email, nothing at all, so I called them today. Long story short, they said they have no record of my order at all, and asked if I'd like to place another one. I said no, checked my credit account to make sure I hadn't been billed (I hadn't...), and now I'm looking around for another place maybe to buy the RAM.

According to ramseeker.com, this is still the cheapest place to get 512 for the Ti, but I don't know. I've read all the past posts regarding memorytogo's perfect/horrible performance on customer service. So, this if for the PowerBook people who I KNOW have bought RAM before...

where do I go?

I personally have had good experiences with Other World Computing, MacSolutions and Data Memory Systems... all three had reasonable prices and quick delivery. A lot of people will also say Crucial.com... they too have been good but I have found the prices from the other three are often a bit lower... especially in larger RAM modules. Hope this helps.

Cheers!

1. Definitely do a search of this forum. There has been a lot of information posted, and a lot of horror stories.

2. I like Crucial. I've had no issues.
