Have a little question, dunno if anyone can answer this..
We are using 2 G3 Splashservers at work (Printservers for Xerox DC12) with a mixed network, the problem is that we are using MacOS 9 on our macs, and we want to upgrade to MacOS X. As far as i can figure out EFI (creators of the splash software) does not support MacOS X yet, and i cannot find any information about when/if they plan to do that...
..I spoke to one of the Xerox software engineers about this, and he said that the new Splash software would be MacOS X native, which i think sounds quite nice... especially since the server hardware is the dual G4's =)
So, finally, the question... does anyone on these forums have any more info about this? i would also like some views about the imposition software bundled with the G630 version, and are the DC12's good for doing small quantity variable print runs?
