I am looking into purchasing an external dvd writer with lightscribe technology, however when I went to Best Buy they did not have any that support OS X. I tried one out and it plugs in and works, but the software will not install because it is all .exe so I cannot use the ligthscribe. I am wondering if anyone knows of a good writer that is mac supported.

Your writer is fine, all you need is the software for OS X to support LightScribe... DiscLabel: Mac CD Label Maker Software for OS X
