One doesn't clean one's keyboard.

The dirt is the clockwork.

When your keyboard's really dirty: time to buy a new mac.

I just blast mine with canned air when I remember to buy a new bottle...gets pretty disgusting down there, kind of wish it wasn't clear on the sides.

There are some screws on the underside, by the USB ports. Need a special screwdriver.

Then there are more screws hidden beneath the keys on the keyboard, one where the  logo is on the flipside, I can't remember where the others are.

Cleaned mine about a year ago, need to do it again soon.

About 30 minutes work.
