Will we be able to watch HD movies on Mac? I'm getting ready to HD-out the living room finally and I want a Mac in there and attached to that Mac I want a combo HD/Blu-Ray drive that will play both HD movie formats.
Anyone have a guess as to how long I'll have to wait for that to be possible?
AFAIK Leopard's DVD player will be able to show HD movies. I assume you're talking about HD-DVDs/BluRay Disks here, right? Otherwise, there's always QuickTime or VLC … they play HD trailer just fine now

Yeah, I meant HD-DVD's and BluRay...so in theory if I bought a Mac after October and got an external HD-DVD/BluRay combo drive (do those exist for Macs yet?) then I would be able to play any HD movie disc?
