If I download Quicktime HD clips on my mac and then us Quicktime Pro to convert them to Apple TV use will it display in HD on my TV? or does converting them not make it HD anymore?

Why do you think you have to convert them? They should just import into iTunes and then sync automatically.

Because they dont meet the ATV specifications? Download a HD trailer from Apple, import it into iTunes, try to sync it to the ATV and see what happens.

I've downloaded many 720p HD trailers from the iTunes Store and they sync to my AppleTV. They show up on your computer as a podcast and sync across.

thanks for all the input... now another question, is there anymore HD quicktime content that i can get off the web? Ive been searching google with no luck.
