Pretty much what the title says...I have a hard drive hooked up to my airport extreme for use with my macbook.

The only way I can see to properly eject the drive is to open Admin utility and then remove it that way.

Or is there a problem if I just leave it on all the time without having to go through all those steps to eject it?

I really have no expierence with always-on drives, does anyone have any advice on how to handle it? Leave it on, or only use when needed, etc...

Thanks in advance
