i looked on google im new to macs and i dont know what this is, it says "apple HDD firmware 1998 9gb 3.5 inch SCSI?
and also does anyone know what a quantom fireball se 3.5 series is?

anyone know?

If it says "SCSI", it most definitely did NOT run in an iMac G3.

It's a SCSI hard drive. iMacs used ATA drives.

ditto analogika, the Quantum SE 9GB was a nine gig SCSI hard drive. It could have been used in a beige G3. But not an iMac.
