I never seem to have enough USB ports. Because I want USB 2 speeds on all my devices, I end up using an external powered USB hub. This means extra power consumption, and more junk on my desk. Does anyone have a better alternative to using these externally powered USB hubs? Why can't Apple add about 10 USB ports to the back of the Mac Pro?

A PCI-E USB card. Sonnet makes one, Sonnet: Allegro Express USB - USB 2.0 PCI Express Card.
