I just bought a Proview 22" Widescreen LCD monitor to hook up to my MacBook. It came with a VGA cord, so I bought a VGA to Mini-DVI adapter. But when I plug it in, the screen resolution doesn't increase. The pixels only get larger. Also, the screen is squished vertically, with the bottom 2 inches of the screen black. Is this a driver issue? If so, where can I download the driver?
