I'm looking for a camera that I can tell to take a picture through an app my Mac - either through Bluetooth, 802.11, serial port, or USB. I need the protocol to be open so I can write me own app to tell the camera to take the picture.

Any ideas?

Actually, I've been finding protocol info and open source apps that can do this for pretty much the top 10 popular digital cameras. I'll post and let you know what solution is the best that I find.
