ACD gets power but no signal from PowerMac

I have a 17" ACD, the one with the blue apples, not the silver ones. When I plug it into the Powermac the light goes on, it lets me press the settings button, that lights up. But it doesn't get a signal. I have a perfectly good 15" ACD that I could use for parts if anyone has any idea, I wouldn't mind taking it to an apple store either.

When's the last time you saw the ACD work? Has anything happened to it since then? Does the 15" ACD work with the PowerMac?
