I hope someone knows the answer to this.

My wireless MightyMouse I bought two weeks ago at BestBuy was malfunctioning, so I called Apple and they sent me a "new" one. I'm sure you know they make you send back the defective product in the same box, and you get to keep theirs.
But when I got mine today I noticed they're two different models of the mouse; the one they sent me has GREY side buttons and lining, while the one I purchased recently was completely white.

I hope they werent jipping me out of a new mouse cause I paid a lot for it.

Does anyone know which mouse (the grey&white one or the all white one) is the latest model??

Curious, why do you say that now? The online Apple Store has pictures of the all white mouse on the site which would insinuate that one is the newest, but half of the AppleCare "specialists" assured me the grey one was newest, while the other half didn't have a clue.

The one that came with the new iMac I bought less than a month ago is all white. To me it makes sense that the latest version of MM should come with a new model of a computer that also comes with the newest keyboard...

AS Glenn says the latest and newest computer from Apple -iMac Mid 2007- comes with an all white mighty mouse, hence that's the newest mice

Anyway… compare this web page from current Mighty Mouse model…
Apple - Mighty Mouse - Design

to the older counterpart…
Apple - Mighty Mouse - Design

It seems the current model is in fact, all white while older Mighty Mouse sports grey side buttons

Older model…

Current model…

Hope this helps.
