I am shopping for new speakers, I am not paying for them, so price is no problem. I have always heard you get what you pay for (The ALS are a bit more), but I am not sure the ALs are worth it. I am very into audio, I have a set of Logitech speakers and believe they are not right for me, they really are for average joe's and not people who are into music, and do not have a natural sound like a Yamaha amp, the bass kills the rest of the sound, so I am going to give them away to a good friend who wants them.

Thanks

Try Klipsch

https://www.klipsch.com/products/ipo...-speakers.aspx

the H/K soundsticks sounded horrible to me. Dull lifeless sound and sloppy, boomy bass.

I know you didn't ask for studio monitors but if you really care about sound quality they are your best bet. I would recommend the Blue Sky EXO 2.1 system. I've had these for a few weeks and they sound excellent. They are far better than anything from HK, Altec, Creative or Klipsch.

If price is no problem then why not look at getting a separate amp with some great speakers (b&w for example). I would avoid multimedia speakers if you care about music enough!
