Anyone with one of these? The reviews seem to be mixed regarding the distance from the base charger and to the mouse, but for me it would only be about 2 feet. I found a site that has it for $75 shipped, and used one at a retail store and felt great in my hand.

Love the actual mouse, however I don't use it much because I have a macbook and it's a hassle to unplug/plug the adapter in everytime.

In all honesty, I bought the mouse without doing my research, and I was under the impression that since it was bluetooth, it would work without the USB dongle. Apparently (unless I am missing something) that cannot be done, so the mouse gets rarely used.

If you have a desktop, it's a great mouse because you can just leave the dongle in 24/7. If you have a macbook/macbook pro, I'd recommend finding a mouse that doesn't need any adapter, unless you don't mind constantly plugging/unplugging it in.

I agree. For Macbook owner the VX Revolution might be more useful. I own one myself and I really like it. It can be used as a desktop mouse also if you have smaller to medium hands in my opinion because the mouse is rather large for a notebook mouse. Like mentioned in the review of the MX though the Logitech Control Center really isn't the best. I had my share of problems with it also resulting in random kernel panics that have stopped after uninstalling the LCC drivers. I suggest if you are going to buy a Logitech mouse to consider buying Steermouse or USB Overdrive. Personally I like the Steermouse drivers better. Unfortunately both are shareware so you have to keep in mind that you may have to consider additional expenses with Logitech mice.

Well, I use the MX Revolution with my Mac Pro. I cannot say I'm too happy with it though. This might be due to the fact that my machine is placed under the table and the connection to the little BT stick is buggy. The mouse itself is nice though if it doesn't run into its connection hiccups. It works well with my hand. I am using ControllerMate for programming the buttons and functionality.

Any particular reason why this couldn't be posted in Peripherals? Oh, I meant Consumer Hardware.

Unless something's changed - these aren't bluetooth mice. The little dongle is an RF beastie, so no wonder the mouse won't work with your internal bluetooth.

I've got an MX Revolution and really like it aside from the LCC software being a bit crap and the battery life not being all that great.

Sorry, I got it mixed up. I did not mean bluetooth. I still see no reason why the connection is buggy though as I'm using the original Logitech stick. I am also using the diNovo Edge keyboard and have no issues with that one at all.
