Hey I have a videocamera MiniDV and I bough the 4 pin to 6 pin FW cable so i could connect it... i did it and found out that iMovie can do the job of importing...

doesnt anyone know aout any other video software that could do the job more easily?

to upload individually each clip into my computer.... cause imovie imports all clips into one movie project

Control-click on the iMovie file, and select "Open Package Contents". IIRC, your clips will be in the media folder. Move around as you wish.
