anyone else having difficulty accessing this from their iPhone or iPod touch? I turned it on in the preferences and made sure the corresponding port was on in the firewall, but when I put in my ip address like as follows in mobile safari: http://[ip address]:2170/eyetv/ I get an error saying the host could not be reached. Any ideas?

I tried it out briefly and it worked fine for me. Have you restarted both your computer and phone?

I've got the same problem on my Intel Mini - click start and nothing happens. What it's supposed to do is start up something called EyeConnect but it's failing to do so. You can start it manually either through the terminal:
Code:
open /Applications/EyeTV.app/Contents/Resources/EyeConnect.app
or by right-clicking on EyeTV.app -> Show package contents -> Contents -> Resources and then double clicking EyeConnect.app

That gets the webserver part up and running but it's not sharing out any of the Stylesheets or JavaScript script files so all you end up seeing in your browser (or iPhone/iTouch if you've got one) is the recording name and description with no way to access the actual video!

Anyone got this working yet? I've just got my iPod Touch and was looking forward to being able to watch tv in bed!

This works, but all videos *must* be converted to m4v by EyeTV first.
