i just got an external hard drive and i am wondering how i update it, meaning after i put all my files on it, how do i put just the new ones on it whenever i want to back up some new files.

meaning if i back up my pictures folder, and i save some new pictures in the same folder, how do i update my hard drive and just put the new pictures in it and not all the old ones also?

If you will use SuperDuper, Carbon Copy Cloner, or the like, the process will be automated -- it will simply make the files on the external hard drive match the files on the internal. Loon on VersionTracker.

I recommend using SuperDuper once and then occasionally (after running ONYX), copy your entire User folder to the drive. sam
