I am thinking about getting a BT MM but my friends keep telling me theirs don't work any longer, I had read about Mighty Mouse wheel issues some time ago and was wondering if it is still a matter of concern nowadays… thanks.

Every now and then the wheel may stop working-it's due to some sort of dust or gunk getting in around the wheel. I've had this happen maybe twice or three times in the three months I've been using my wired MM. I've always cleared it up by just working the ball a little bit back and forth-no biggie, really.

When the wheel stops working, just clean it. The easiest way that was explained to me (and which works every time) is to turn the mouse off, then turn it over and roll it around very aggressively on a clean sheet of paper.
