If the monitor has HDMI and DVI, and is switchable from one input to the other, then it should be fine with your G5.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

My w2207 is great monitor and has both DVI & VGA inputs and works great with my Radeon 9800 pro in my QS, so yea, it will work with a G5 as long as your video card has one or both of these connections..........

I bought a DELL UltraSharp 2407WFP earlier this year. It offers a HDCP compliant DVI input as well as other analog inputs. I have a couple DVI-to-HDMI cables from XtremeMac to my PowerMac G4, G5, and PS3. It works out pretty good. I may get a XtremeMac ExtremeHD HDMI Switcher later on.

Buy a DVI-HDMI cable for your Mac and a 2 port HDMI switch.
