My Comcast DVR has an ethernet port. Is there a way for me to connect to it through my router and transfer my saved shows to my Mac?

Assuming you have the Moto box, no. Although you can copy shows through the Firewire port (in realtime ).

You don't mount it, you stream the video over Firewire.
