Ok heres my budget and what I want.

I want a laptop Im usually a mac man but limited price at the minute and need good spec.

Ive got at the most £600
I want

2.0ghz
2gb memory

160gb hardrive atleast

and i want a nice looking laptop

Is this spec inpossible our can it be got. It has to be new also?

You might be able to meet the Processor and RAM (assuming you add some RAM aftermarket), but not the HD at $600.

Im in the uk that £600 not dollors its basicly double at the minute so $1200

Oh, yeah, my bad.

I'd say if you look in the right places, it's attainable

If you want brand new, I doubt it, but Apple refurbs are like new, and cheaper.

If you want to do that, I suggest pricing the memory and HD on Newegg and compare the costs of getting a new computer with these specs to buying a lesser computer, adding these components yourself, and selling the swapped out components.
