Wasn't sure which forum to put this in (moderators: please feel free to move it to a more appropriate home).

My new Apple Bluetooth Keyboard (connected to a MBP 15" 2.4GHz) occasionally (once every half-hour, perhaps) inputs three letters when it really only should be inputting one. For instance, I would be typing "Hello world", but it would read "HHHello world". Some things to note:
- I can't find a pattern of when it's doing this (like after a period of inactivity/idleness). It seems to be completely random, though I could be wrong.
- When it screws up, it's always exactly three letters when it should be one, not two, not four or more.
- I'm not pressing on a key too long (or three times rapidly) by accident--I have a new wired Apple Keyboard as well, and it offers the same tactile feel, but it's never done the same thing, so I'm pretty sure it isn't me.
- Software is up to date.
- It was always like this (since I first got the keyboard)
- I was running Tiger when all this happened.
- I'm running Leopard now, and it's still happening.
- It's tolerable, but still kind of annoying.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing? Or is this something I should go to warranty over?

Thanks!

I had the same problem with my old style Bluetooth keyboard and couldn't spot a pattern either. I ended up getting a wired aluminium one and believe it or not it's already happened on that one too - within the first two hours of using it!

This is with a Mac Pro, 10.5 and all updates. W E I R D. Would love to know what causes it.
