Hi all,

I have a crashed HD here at work. Gave Drive Savers a ring, but they want upwards of $1800-$2300 for getting the data off a bad HD. I did some searching around, and found a couple places that'll do it for $500. What are you experiences with these places? I'm hesitant, as $2300 could get the department a couple new computers.

Looking for the same info here, water damage with my HD. I was planning on sending it to Salvagedata.com (which I just randomly found online) for a free appraisal. They said probably from 400-1200.
