Is there a way to make it longer? I can barely put the speakers side by side with my ADC 17" once the cord is attached to the MDD rear port… which obviously it belongs. Thanks.

so I found this picture with the same set-up I have, a MDD + 17 ADC… there is no way I can place them like that and the Pro Speakers be attached to the MDD, where is the trick?, I would preffer to have the MDD to the right to the display like shown below, (that's Chicago Apple Store)

The Pro speakers that came with the iMac G4 had a very short cord. The units that were sold separately for the G4 towers had a longer cord. Sounds like you got the former. I know at one point some company sold an extension cable. Don't recall who or if its still available, but I'd do some Googling to see if you can find one.

Thank Cadaver, you're totally right, it was the Griffin APS Extension which seems is not longer available.
