My RAZR sprouted an ambient light sensor!

Well, actually I know it has one to control the keypad backlight. But last night it started turning the screen brightness down when the ambient light is dark, and up when there is a lot of ambient light. That's exciting! I assume it downloaded some kind of software update. Has this happened before? Does anyone elses RAZR do this? Mine is a V3m.

I have not noticed this with my V3c (on AT&T).
