A friends drive from a G5 imac apparently crashed and he wanted me to see if I can retrieve any data from it.
I have a Titanium Powerbook and an Intel Core2duo imac I can use.
I know that I've seen specialized cables that I think can be used to directly connect an ATA drive to usb or firewire.
Anyone know how I can approach this task??

$15-20 USB enclosure is a good place to start.
