My wireless Mighty Mouse is really pissing me off! I clean the ball and it scrolls down for maybe 5 minutes then it will only scroll up again! Is this normal? What is a better bluetooth mouse for the Mac?
The little roller ball can be cleaned. I use individually wrapped alcohol pads (like the nurse will use on your arm when they draw blood). Roll the ball around for a few seconds. Good as new.
I cleaned it many times. I would work for a few mins then stop. Now the roller ball does not scroll up, down or show the applications running if you press on it. Its only a little over a year old....stinks.
I have a feeling it's picking up grease from your finger. I was having the same problem yesterday when I was eating some popcorn while working at the computer. Once I got it thoroughly cleaned it worked fine.
